First up, lets get the sad news out of the way. Benny was declared terminally ill. There's already another tumor under her chin and there isn't much they can do. However they prescribed her medicine that will hopefully shrink the tumor and boost her immune system, since Lymphoma attacks the lymph nodes. For now she's healing great from her surgery and is having a blast stealing the bed and having me sleep in the corner. She's happy, so I'm going to do my best to be happy for her and just keep spoiling her like I usually do!
Also turns out I have some brain damage from my dad beating me upside the head as a kid and multiple high fevers and head injuries. It's actually responsible for my persistent anxiety and depression, cause mah brain is actually damaged. I've been undergoing Neural Feedback Therapy to try to rewrote my brain so it can function normally. It's going well but man the side effects X< NOT FUN but it is helping.

I turn 27 this month! On the 29th! I'll be hanging with my best pal and having a great time. I want an ice cream cake cause they are my favorite.

ALSO, THE VIDEO I'VE STARTED WORKING ON A YEAR AGO IS FINALLY DONE. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.



It's HAND ANIMATED by my roomie/pal . The colors are by me. AND I tell you...IT'S MIND NUMBING TO COLOR ALMOST 6 MINUTES WORTH OF FRAME BY FRAME ANIMATION. I'M SO GLAD IT'S DONE. IT'S DONE AND I NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN.

Of course upward trends don't last!

Benny, my cat, had a lump in her neck on Saturday, so I made an appointment to get her checked out for today. I thought maybe it was a cyst or an abscess, cause we've been fighting fleas and I wondered if it was just an infected bite.

Nope, it's Lymphoma.

They recommend surgery (which I am going to do) to remove the mass. I just got approved for Care Credit, so her surgery will be covered at least. They recommend chemo too, but I have no idea how chemo affects cats.

See, grandma, mom, dad, my brother, and my boyfriend all have/had cancer. I lost mom and grandma, so I am not a stranger to caring for someone with cancer or what to expect.

It's different when it's a cat, who can't really say verbally if they are in pain or if they don't feel well.

So please, if anyone has had to get chemo for their pets, please let me know. I got some questions that really is better asked to people who went through it. I just want to make sure I'm making the right decisions for her, and chemo is brutal.  

I'm...okay. My higher dosage of medications means I can look at this rationally but it's like containing a tsunami in a cup. I'm not going to lie, this is awful. But I can face this. I'm more worried about Benny.

So if there's any vets out there or people who've been through this before, please let me know cause i could really use some advice!

Would anyone wanna buy a bunch of minerals? 50 bucks with shipping included for all of my mineral collection.

The biggest pieces are these. Left to right top to bottom they are Agate Geode, Chalcopyrite, Bismuth, Orange Calcite, Pyrite cube form, Green Calcite , Pyrite, Slag, Green and pale orange calcite, quartz samples, Amethyst, and I think Topaz. I am not sure. Also what will be included are about a pound of small to teeny little mineral pieces.

Included will be good ol’ PA Slag, found in an abandoned iron furnace. It may be cast off waste from the smelting process but it’s lovely.
