Watercolor doodles of moth/hummingbird hybrids.

Note there is actually a moth species called a hummingbird moth (GOOGLE EET). This here is literally mashing up a Hummingbird with a moth :B

Yeah male ones have red on them and are showy. Females are mostly green/black/white. The babies are hatched from eggs as little multie-legged grubby things, but eventually pupate and turn into Hummamoths.

They are US Quarter sized and eat teeny bugs and drink nectar.

I’m sorry I think of the oddest things. :x

..... You may think up the oddest things, but whenever you do, it's amazing.

... I WANT ONE! *would possibly buy a genetic splicing lab specifically for Hummamoths* Oh God, so adorable, like Bee Hummingbirds.

This is one of the most original creature designs I've ever seen. Beautifully designed and executed; it seems like it could be a real species! I'm a sucker for hummingbirds - and I also like moths - so seeing these little guys is an absolute delight. I had the biggest grin on my face seeing the tiny hummy-grubs, oh my gosh. And the happy female at bottom-right, with her tongue sticking out, is just too precious. I could go on with florid descriptions, but I'll just say again that this is a gorgeous page of concepts.

Not much a fan of moths, but if these cuties circled my porch light all night long, I would LOVE THEM ALL.
