He wanted to see what a human raised by Zuraki from birth would look like. The answer is that they'd still be human, but would probably wear fake ears and tails to kinda fit in more with their parents. It's uncommon for Zuraki to be granted children from other species to adopt, mostly because CPS would be concerned about the shorter life spans for Zuraki, and that they live underground, and are total herbivores. So a couple that wanted to adopt a human baby would have to take classes and prove they can properly raise a child of another species. Some do and get human babies to raise! And Zuraki make loving and supportive parents so whatever kid they raise will probably go on to be a nice person.

Humans raised by Zuraki tend to be raised Vegetarian and would have terrible concepts of fashion!
